| Location description | Koilani, one of the seven oldest wine villages is situated in the Kommandaria Region and has its own winery. Population of the village does not exceed 150 people although in summertime it is sizzling with those who live and work in the coastal areas. Two local shops provide almost everything, one butcher and each morning farmers display their fruits & vegetables. In the local tavern you are served with traditional food and wines. The annual Afamia Grape Festival takes place in October. Only 12 km's to the well known Troodos Resort Village of Platres. Also Omodhos is just 12 km's away. To visit the Donkey Sanctuary in Vouni where you can even adopt a donkey takes you 3 minutes by car.
